With something as complex and large as the SHE Media Partner Network, there are a lot of moving parts. So we want to make sure that you have the right steps for updating your payment information.
If you're paid through ACH:
You should be able to update this in the dashboard. To make sure that we know it updated (so we can confirm it with Accounting), either message us through the ZenDesk chat window - or email the helpdesk at support@shemedia.com. We'd much rather you ask us to double-check, then find out that your payment went to a closed account or the wrong one.
If you're paid through PayPal (non-US publishers only):
This information cannot be updated in our dashboard at this time. You will need to email the helpdesk at support@shemedia.com.
If you're paid via wire (for our larger non-US publishers):
Please contact the helpdesk at support@shemedia.com
When can I expect these changes to go through?
SHE Media pays on a net60 schedule. We use one month to reconcile data, and then by mid-month, we begin lining up all the payments that are due to go out. So if you're updating your information at the start of a month, it's very likely we'll be able to get it updated without holding up any payments.
If you're updating it after the 15th, we might have to delay your payment in order to ensure that we don't accidentally issue it to a closed account.
What if I need to update my payee / tax information, too? What if I'm an LLC now?
If you need to update your tax information (whether you need to update the address, the name, or change from an Individual to a company) - you cannot update this in our dashboard, so that we can make sure you have the appropriate tax forms and we can make sure that it's updated promptly in our system.
Please do not wait to update this until the start of the next calendar year. Email as soon as changes happen at the helpdesk at support@shemedia.com and we will be able to get you the tax forms to update.
