Why shouldn't you just drop your ad code?

Sometimes, when things go wrong, it's tempting to take down your ad code. Especially if it's breaking your layout.

Unfortunately, it's impossible for our team to figure out what is wrong with your code - whether we're talking about speed issues, or ads showing up in weird places, if we can't take a look at your code.

If it's truly breaking your site and making it unviewable... yes, you should take down your code and reach out to us - but let us know that you took it down and why. Then we will work out a time where you can make the ad code live and we can take a look at the issue. But you do have to be prepared to put it back up so that we can see what's going on.

While we can try to replicate the situation, sometimes we need to see it live on your site, so we can work back through the problem. (Or so that one of the providers or services we work with can look and see what problem they are currently having.)
