Sometimes, you will ask SHE Media to disable ads on a page - whether it's a page like your about me, a shop, your privacy policy, or even a sponsored post.
SHE Media will block the ads by inserting a disable script on those pages. You can do this yourself if you use Infuse, but often, SHE Media will write a script to run on your site.
When SHE Media tells you that we've disabled the ads on your page, we want you to do two things before checking.
1. Clear your device's cookies
2. Clear your device's cache.
Both of these need to happen so that your site is forced to load everything fresh. A cache is temporary storage that's used to help load pages faster. Mobile devices tend to have what's called a "sticky" cache - it's harder to clear, largely because it can load things more slowly, so your browser is doing everything it can to keep your phone load times down.
In order to clear your phone's mobile cache, you might have to go into the application's settings or go to the application in your overall settings menu and clear any additional data.
The SHE Media team will double verify that ads are removed. Meaning, the support team member helping you will check their computer and phone, and then ask another team member to check their computer and phone. (As our support team is remote, it means we won't be on the same network or sometimes in the same state)
