Google's MCM can be a tricky process. Sometimes your site won't pass for technical reasons, or for Google policy related issues. For 99% of cases, we'll be able to get you through MCM with a resubmission or a ticket with their policy team.
You'll notice the status will have changed in our dashboard to say that you didn't pass. If you hover over the icon, sometimes it will tell you why - but our team is happy to help explain what they decided and what it means.
The Process
As long as your site wasn't rejected for policy reasons, this is the process we follow.
Fix-It Rejections
There are quite a few reasons that are simply fix-it type tickets. They didn't see your ads.txt file. They found a bug with your navigation. You have ads enabled on pages you shouldn't monetize. Or your site's down.
If it's any of these reasons, we'll email you with the steps you should take to fix it, and once it's fixed, we'll resubmit your site.
If they said it was any of those reasons, but we see that your site is fine, we'll just resubmit you - we won't reach out.
Low Value Content
A large percentage of sites that get rejected will be because Google's deemed it Low Value Content. Essentially, based on their automated review, they believe there might be an issue monetizing your site. This sounds absolutely scary, but it's all based on whether or not they think your site will index well (see the related article below for more information).
However, SHE Media has already vetted your site. We looked at your content and what we know about building audiences and decided that your site is worth monetizing.
For this, we'll resubmit your site.

How long does the resubmission take?
That review can take about three days, but sometimes as long as 14 days. They'll send it through the same process, with an automated review and then a manual review.
If it's rejected again, we'll open a ticket with Google and provide them with our list of reasons we think your site is great and should be approved. This will go to their policy review team and unfortunately we can't estimate how much time that will take. It depends on the number of sites they're evaluating, and their availability.
What if it's a policy issue?
If your site was denied for policy violations, we'll email you and ask some questions to get information. Usually if there's a policy violation, it's happened to you and your AdSense account. So we'll get as much information as we can and open a ticket with Google to try to re-evaluate you in the hopes that they'll put you back in good status with Google.
Please note, if you have a Google Account or a site that was blocked for invalid traffic, it is highly unlikely that we'll be able to get this overturned - unless it was many years ago, and you'd monetized with other providers successfully in the time period since then. So please, try to get as much information as possible so we can figure out what steps need to be taken.
