On 9/5/25, we received reports from Collective members that our dashboard's pull for July 2025 was not matching what was paid out to publishers. We immediately opened a ticket with our data team to investigate this.
The Collective team has done some of our own investigations, pulling the reports of what was just paid out to publishers and comparing it with the raw revenue data. When we pulled the data table that feeds that report, the figures we received matched the Collective payout amounts. Which led us to the knowledge that the issue was with the report itself and not the data.
Our data team has investigated it, confirmed our findings, and found that there is some duplication of data that's being pulled into the report, and are working to correct this.
Thankfully, this means the revenue paid to our publishers is accurate - but it means that this discrepancy was not actual earnings. But a copy of some of the revenue that was already paid out to you.
Our data team has confirmed that our reporting has been fixed, and this will no longer be an issue.
We apologize for the confusion - we know how frustrating this is, especially when it comes to revenue. We pride ourselves in having accurate reporting, and when glitches like this arise - it's frustrating to all. If you have any questions, concerns, please reach out to the Helpdesk or your Account Manager (if assigned).
