SHE Media has partnered with Remixd, a service that will digitize your posts in audio form, giving your readers the option to read or listen to your content.  It includes audio ads, and you will earn from any ads that are played.

The revenue boost is small, but it's an accessibility tool - giving people other ways to enjoy your content!

How does it work?

If you sign up, the Remixd team evaluates your site's theme and layout to ensure it's compatible.  Once they've configured an account on their end for your site, the SHE Media team injects the Remixd widget through our code.  When the code is on the page, it will scan the page it's on, create a rendering of your article - and voila!  Your readers will be able to listen to your work.

After Remixd is set up, they will then include your site in their audio ad trafficking - and occasionally an ad will play before your article.  You will get a share of that ad revenue.

How to sign up?

You can fill out this interest form here.  There is a section for Remixd.  Please be aware that the Remixd team can only add a maximum of 20 sites a week - so it might take a little time.  But you'll receive an email from our team when it's live.

Is every site eligible?

Not all sites are compatible with their technology.  If you're heavily lazy loading text or if you have a SPA format on your site - your site might not be eligible.  Unfortunately we don't always find out until they try to configure Remixd for your site.  But our team will reach out to let you know.

Where does the widget go?

It goes at the top of your posts. Depending on your layout, it could sit below a featured "hero" image at the top of your article, but before the text.  Or if you don't put an image up top, just before your text begins.

What if I don't like the voice?

If you don't like the voice, don't hesitate to reach out, and we'll be able to work with Remixd to see what options there are available.

Where do I see revenue?

Revenue that you earn will show up in the Beyond the Banner section.  It can take a little while after the widget shows up for you to begin earning, just because they have to traffic your site into their ad campaigns.

What if I want to remove it?
