On May 20, 2024 - our update to the revenue report was missing a revenue stream, and this caused April and May revenue to appear lower than it actually is. For some publishers, it was a significant drop.
First reports from the Collective began around 5pm Central, and we made sure the data team was aware of this first thing this morning (May 21) so that they could investigate and address the problem.
At no point in time were your earnings at risk. This was a bad upload of data (one of our providers gave us incorrect data, and in the process of trying to fix this issue, we inadvertently did not upload all revenue streams). While a temporary problem, it is an issue we take seriously. We strive to have accurate and up to date reporting, which is why our dashboards are not live data. We have assurances from our data team that they are putting checks in place to ensure this will not happen again. Our data team has re-uploaded the revenue for April and May.
This issue is resolved, and all data will be checked over the next few days (an additional QA) to ensure this matter is fully resolved.
We apologize for the inconvenience and thank the publishers who reported this to us directly.
